POHA/ATKULU UPMA
INGREDIENTS:
Thick variety Poha/Atkulu--------1-1/2 cups of standard measuring cup
Oil-----------------------------------3 tbp
Water-------------------------------as required
Groundnuts-------------------------1 tsp
Channa dal-------------------------1 tsp
Urad dal-----------------------------1 tsp
Turmeric---------------------------1/4 tsp
Green chillies----------------------3 chopped
Onion------------------------------1 big one
Salt---------------------------------to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1.Soak the poha in water for 1 min and Drain out the water and squeeze/press gently between hands to remove excess water. Dont over do it.
2..Heat oil in pan and add channa dal ,urad dal, groundnuts. .Let them turn to light brown and add onions.
3.After the onions turn translucent add gree chillies and turmeric.
4.Now add the poha and mix well by after adding enough salt.
5.Fry for 5-6 mins and serve.
