BREAD CUTLET

This appetizer is something everyone would love to munch upon(especially me:)and quite easy to make.It requires very basic ingredients and yet tastes simple.I would love to thank mahimaa for tempting me with her snap and making me try this again.

INGREDIENTS:


Bread slices-------------------3

Grated Carrot----------------1/2 cup(go with any veggies)

Grated Cauliflower------------1/2 cup

Grated Zucchini--------------1/2 cup

Chopped Onion---------------1/2 cup

Peas--------------------------3 tbp

Paneer-----------------------1/4 cup grated(optional)

Green chilli-------------------2-3

Masala powder---------------1/2tsp(of ur choice)

Garlic------------------------1/2tsp chopped

Turmeric powder-------------1/4 tsp

Coriander leaves--------------3 tbp chopped

Salt---------------------------to taste

Oil----------------------------for shallow frying

DIRECTIONS:

1.Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped green chillies,choppedgarlic,chopped onions.

2.Fry till the onions turn brown.Add on the veggies,peas and fry till half done.

3.Add salt, masala powder,turmeric, grated paneer and keep frrying till they become tender.

4.Turn off and let it cool down.Meanwhile dip the bread pieces in water for 2 secs and take out.

5. Squeeze out the excess water and mix the bread with the fried veggies .

6.See that you are able to form balls and shape them into cutlets.

7.In a tsp of oil shallow fry 2-3 cutlets on a pan on both sides till golden brown.

8.Serve hot with ketchup

Hey that's great.. i am glad u tried it and added a few more touches to the basic recipe. paneer is a nice option.. wonder why it didn't strike me to add. needless to say, ur pic is gorgeous and u deserve an award for presentation. :)
